Days in San Miguel, 2016

Updates from my previous posts, I’m Waiting with Excitement!, brings joy and happiness with words from myself and my gal friends that shared the Days in San Miguel,2016. Let the fun begin!

Excitement to be in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico again after 7 years. It brought a smile to my face and a real pain to my hips. I realize my expectations of myself were not what I endured the first couple of days.

Walking so many steps and up and down the hills was much easier when I was there the last time. We said we would get in shape for the trip, well we failed to keep our promises. We knew one way or the other we would  go wherever we wanted to and hail a taxi when we had gone our last mile.

Day One – We spent the first half in the airport and traveling by van to our destination Hotel San Borja, Laderillera 8. What amazing guest rooms and wonderful staff to greet us. We strolled down to the Jardin, took in the excitement of the weekend and exchanged our money for pesos.

Day Two – Our first day was to attend a Home and Garden tour at the La Biblioteca Publica, Library on Sunday for a view of some of San Miguel’s famous homes.  Pam, Renee, and I listen to the music of the Marachai band and visited with local San Miguel tourists, artists, and other art seekers.

Loving the life of a Queen with the maxing family of friends to share the joys of life a and Days in San Miguel, 2016. Please return for updated posts to follow.
